Destabilization of HIF-1a by Diabetes, Oxidative Stress, Obesity and Other Related Disorders

چکیده

One of the most fundamental molecular processes in response to hypoxia is activation and stabilization a transcriptional factor called induced 1a (HIF-1a), which responsible for regulation many downstream effector genes. Multiple key biological pathways such as proliferation, energy metabolism, invasion, metastasis are governed by these This article discusses role hypoxia-inducible (HIF-1a) metabolic pathological processes, particularly adipose tissue, oxidative stress, inflammation, diabetes cancer. HIF1A basic helix-loophelix PAS domain containing protein, considered master regulator cellular developmental hypoxia. HIF-1a regulates expression genes involved angiogenesis, glucose inflammation stress. In obesity, tissue leads increased HIF-1a, can lead chronic dysfunction. Another field that also cancer pathogenesis pathways, metastasis, potential therapeutic target metabolic/genetic diseases Direct indirect HIF-1 inhibitors have been identified, but only few entered clinical trials due their multiple side effects.

Inflammation and Oxidative Stress in Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome, and Diabetes

I do not think anybody even remotely connected with the field of diabetes, either as a researcher or as a health care provider, would have any serious objection to the concept that some degree of altered inflammatory activity or oxida-tive stress plays a serious role in multiple aspects of diabetes. Just to mention two of the best-known processes, a violent, acute inflammatory event leads to th...

Oxidative Stress in Diabetes: Implications for Vascular and Other Complications

In recent decades, oxidative stress has become a focus of interest in most biomedical disciplines and many types of clinical research. Increasing evidence shows that oxidative stress is associated with the pathogenesis of diabetes, obesity, cancer, ageing, inflammation, neurodegenerative disorders, hypertension, apoptosis, cardiovascular diseases, and heart failure. Based on these studies, an e...

Inflammation and Oxidative Stress in Obesity-Related Glomerulopathy

Obesity-related glomerulopathy is an increasing cause of end-stage renal disease. Obesity has been considered a state of chronic low-grade systemic inflammation and chronic oxidative stress. Augmented inflammation in adipose and kidney tissues promotes the progression of kidney damage in obesity. Adipose tissue, which is accumulated in obesity, is a key endocrine organ that produces multiple bi...
